Meet Dr. Rodney Torres

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to migrate to the United States at the age of 10. I was raised in Louisville, Kentucky and Miami, Florida and attended Florida International University for my undergraduate studies and earned my Dental Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dental school afforded me the opportunity to help in local community events and also participate in various dental mission trips to countries such as Ecuador, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.

I received my Orthodontic Certificate and Master’s Degree from the University of Louisville’s Orthodontic Program which allowed me to become well versed in the latest orthodontic technology including traditional braces, self-ligating braces, esthetic braces, mini-implant surgery and Invisalign. I’ve had the opportunity to sharpen these skills in private practice in both Louisville, Kentucky and Pensacola, Florida and I’m excited to bring this experience to Tampa.

My wife and high school sweetheart Gabby shares my love for dentistry and is a registered dental hygienist. We were recently blessed with our first son Adrian and established our home in the beautiful Westchase community. We enjoy our free time traveling, joining mission trips, going to the gym, enjoying the beach, exploring new restaurants around Tampa and most importantly spending time with friends and family.
