You can count on Marie to manage your account. With over 19 years in the practice, she can discreetly and accurately help you get the most out of your insurance coverage. Her job is incredibly important, helping patients and their families make orthodontic treatment affordable. Marie loves getting to know each family and each patient, both as our financial coordinator and a chairside assistant to Dr. Torres. That’s right, Marie is proud to be a Certified Orthodontic Assistant as well!
Marie and her husband, Steve, have two children named Camden and Sadie. The family loves spending time together, although Marie notes that much of her time is spent chasing after the little ones. She loves pursuing photography projects and is also enthusiastic about scrapbooking. When she has the time, Marie savors curling up with a good book and going on the occasional shopping trip.

I was born and raised in Iowa and recently moved to Tampa in January of 2020. I am happy to be a part of this amazing team and to be able to interact with so many wonderful patients.
In my free time I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband and dog, Buddy, trying new things and meeting new people.

I have been in the orthodontic field for 20 years. The best part of my job is helping people achieve a beautiful smile! It is so rewarding to watch their smile and self confidence transform! I love the one on one interactions and relationships that I build with my patients. It’s fun to keep up with what’s new and exciting in their lives. In my personal time, I love spending time with my family and friends! I enjoy going to the beach and almost any outdoor adventure.
