We understand that you’re busy, so we work hard to maximize your time and keep your life running smoothly. Our practice utilizes the latest technologies to offer a variety of safe and gentle treatment options that provide the custom, individualized care you deserve.

Every smile starts with an initial consultation!

During your initial consultation, you will meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial examination, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs.

During your initial consultation we will:

  • Review your dental and medical history forms
  • Take digital pictures
  • Provide a complete oral exam, with a panoramic X-ray to determine whether treatment is necessary
  • Help you create a customized treatment plan
  • Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans

We take the time to answer any questions you may have and we will provide all of the information that you need to determine which treatment is right for you. Please contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation.

Our goal is to make sure you are fully informed and comfortable before taking the next step. We’ll start the process by obtaining diagnostic records to refine your treatment plan. Busy parents often take advantage of the time saved by doing as much as possible in the same day.

What happens after the initial consultation?

Great, now you’re one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! After your consultation, we will reserve your appointment to have Dr. Torres personally place your braces. This appointment generally takes about an hour and our highly experienced team will make it a great experience, ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible.

Scheduling Appointments

Periodic visits are scheduled about every six to eight weeks. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are convenient for you. We ask that you schedule your next visit before you leave the office to ensure the greatest availability. Our software can also track which days and times work best for you.

We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or you need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and our friendly scheduling coordinator will assist you. We’re looking forward to working with you.

Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment

It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist every six months during your orthodontic treatment for cleanings and routine dental checkups. Sometimes your dentist will recommend more frequent preventative care while in braces. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.

In fact, we are more than happy to remove your archwires for dental cleanings. Just ask!
